Mission Statement

The Sacramento Tegaru community’s mission is to actively engage the various members of the Sacramento Tigrean community to get involved to help strengthen the bonds between our young generations to enhance their overall sense of community and to shape their future by raising awareness of the benefits of a strong and sustainable community that reflects a commitment where everyone feels valued and respected there by promoting and preserving our values, traditions, and our Tigrean heritage.

Vision Statement

The Sacramento Tegaru Community's vision is to be a thriving and inclusive community where Tigrean residents are motivated to work towards a common goal to achieve a vibrant, sustainable, and connected community where all residents thrive while celebrating our unique cultural heritage and fostering a strong sense of belonging to the history and culture and Tigrean heritage.
