Who We Are at a Glance

Sacramento Tegarus Community (STC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpolitical and non-religious community organization. We are a vibrant and inclusive group of Tigreans united by our shared passion for preserving the Tigrean community's strong traditions of supporting each other in good and bad times. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all Tigreans in our community. We believe in fostering a strong sense of belonging to the core values of our Homeland,Tigray. We encourage our community members to actively get involved in the building of a thriving Sacramento Tigrean community.

What We Plan to Do

To keep our community relevant and active, we will hold various meetings for meaningful interactions with our community members. We encourage members  to volunteer for civic engagements and social events such as community meetings and fundraising events. These actions help build a stronger more cohesive community. We will meet with Tigrean residents of our community to raise awareness of the issues and challenges that our community faces and find possible solutions.
